My car was acting weird (it was like I was bad at the clutch even though I have an automatic). I took it to the service place, but it was acting fine as the technician drove around with me. Yes, Luke was with me. Yes, I was a bit embarrassed to be the eccentric-dog-lady going for a service drive (I had no idea that we would go for a drive; I thought everything was diagnosed by computers these days!). They needed the car all day for a recall fix; after a morning at Starbucks, Katie picked Luke and I up for a much needed afternoon at the lake. We spent a fair amount of time swimming, fetching, and hammocking.
