Through a list of service/therapy dog organizations, I've become acquainted with a childhood disease known as Spinal Muscular Atrophy. In short, the body can't keep up with a kid's smarts, hopes, and dreams. Little Aaron was diagnosed when he was 2. He recently made it to his 5th birthday! He and his therapy dog Lindy Hop organized a virtual walk: Getting out wherever you may be to be thankful for strength and spirit. Luke and I made a sign, and walked around Queen Anne. We will walk for each other until we can all walk together. Learn more about SMA here.
