Big Day (p365; 9.30.11)

There was a lot going on today! I was waiting for a call from my dean. He didn't call until 5, but Leah helped my day get out to a tasty start when she DELIVERED a might-o donut to my office. Thanks, Leah!

Sarah, Phil, and I had Pho (one of my favorite meals) for lunch. The look on Phil's face may indicate what visitors from Kansas think of Pho? My mom had a similar reaction...

Then, I gave the remarks after the opening night talk at the AAPC-NW conference. I hadn't seen the paper before the session, so it was a bit impromptu. I'm not sure I made 100% sense; that's OK, the podium did a pretty good job concealing me so maybe the crowd was unsure who said what.
