Also, a bonus end-of-summer tribute. I shouldn't like this cartoon, but what it lacks in cleverness, it makes up in adorableness. Plus, this fits:
I'm a human ecologist filled with random facts! On most days, I'm just a crazy dog lady who wanders through life seeing the curiosities in this world. In 2011, I was on a quest: Project365 (p365). I took a picture everyday. That may be the first and last time I complete a New Year Resolution! Now, I'm trying to find quirky, kitschy joy. Beware: There are a lot of pics of my pup. Realistically, this blog should be called Luke's Photo Booth! All in all, it is a story of a well-loved life.

End of Summer (p365; 9.8.11)
When someone posted this picture on Facebook it struck a chord in me. Plus, it is one of those signs you never really notice until someone points it out. Then, you see it all the time (this particular sign is outside my yoga studio). I suppose some things seem more profound than they should. But, I like that the sign, if indeed a metaphor, could mean an end to chaos or an end to going this-way-and-that-way (even if it literally and simply means the end of the beloved turn lane). Today was the end of summer break; I started back at work. Here's to a good end(ing). Here's to connection and hope:
