This weekend, I hosted book club. I took Luke swimming to tire him out. It was clear and chilly (refreshing?). There were some bold ducks who swam near Luke. You can't see them in the photograph, but I was amazed that they didn't show fear. Luke and I also made shadow puppets (he wanted to look like a wolf). Was Luke tired for book club? Yes, but he was also hungry after his workout -- so he stared at all the food we were eating. Sigh.

I hosted book club last month and Diarmaid ate one of the ladies' snacks right off her plate. Ugh!
