Aberdeen, Astoria, and Seaside

When I was on the plane back from Kansas City, I sat next to a woman whose friend runs the largest Star War store/museum. I thought it may be a place where figures are in pristine boxes. I was surprised that it was a loving den where over-loved toys had gone to rest. And, there was a great mural outside the store.

A bit SW of Aberdeen is Astoria. The last time I poked around this little port town, it was a graveyard marina/ghost town. There has been a lot of revitalization and there are now quaint bookstores, energetic coffeehouses, and vintage stores (both vintage vintage and new vintage).

Finally, Luke and I spent the night in Seaside, full of waves and light.
