Dana! (p365; 3.17.11)

Well, I was too under the weather to drink a green pint, but I did get to have frozen yogurt with Dana, one of the folks outside of my family that I have known the longest. I think we met at orchestra club in elementary school (at the time, I had a crush on West--such a cool name for a viola-playing boy). Dana and I were friends in high school (we attended different elementary and junior highs) when our mutual friend, Nina, reconnected us. We all worked together slinging pizza at Minskey's (the veggie pizza is still on my fav food list). I always thought that Dana was savvy and smart: it was/is like knowing the cool, alternative kids! She has gone on to earn her Ph.D. from Penn State (in art!), has a very good seed hubby, a smart and curious (and adorable) daughter, and a little son coming to the world this summer! And, yes, she does get told that she looks like Molly Ringwald:
