I'm a human ecologist filled with random facts! On most days, I'm just a crazy dog lady who wanders through life seeing the curiosities in this world. In 2011, I was on a quest: Project365 (p365). I took a picture everyday. That may be the first and last time I complete a New Year Resolution! Now, I'm trying to find quirky, kitschy joy. Beware: There are a lot of pics of my pup. Realistically, this blog should be called Luke's Photo Booth! All in all, it is a story of a well-loved life.

Covered Bridges
Growing up with a mom from Upstate New York (Lake Placid and surrounding area), I have always loved old, covered bridges (we used to visit Upper Jay and see the old bridges). When I was searching for a hike, Luke and I ran across Drift Creek's Covered Bridge. Cars can no longer drive under, but it was a great spot to relax and watch the stream flow under the bridge. I even altered a photo to see what Luke's great-great-great-great grandfather would have looked like around the time the bridge was constructed!
