Luke and I took our annual fall pilgrimage to dark & stormy Ocean Shores. We had fun on the shore and at the cabin (thanks, hot tub!). I also tried my first "Captain's Platter"--discovering I'm am but a skipper in need of a doggie bag.

Luke asked me to translate. It says "woof-ruf", and that translates to "go wild". |

I carved a Jack. Spooky company. |

Luke tried to take all the sticks (behind him) back to the ocean. |

The next day, we met Nina & her boys for the pumpkin regatta. Yup, huge pumpkins carved as racing boats!
That night, we watched the MSU vs Wisconsin game. Hail Mary! We won!!! (We being me, not Kathy-the-Badger).

For the past few years, Kathy and I have been running the Race Like Hell. This year the theme was Zombies. Kathy and I dressed up as cheerleaders-turned-Zombies. You know, because every Zombie has a story!

Luke rolled over and played dead when he saw me! |
