I love that my university celebrates the Festival of Sukkot, a joyous celebration marking the end of forty years wandering and the beginning of harvest. But, I do question if the Sukkot tent should look like it comes from REI? Traditional tents were wood; decorated with maize, herbs, art, and flowers. This one, in front of St. Ignaus Chapel, looks more like it has a ration of Tang inside instead of the fragrance of herbs and spices that evoke the season of rejoicing.
