I'm a human ecologist filled with random facts! On most days, I'm just a crazy dog lady who wanders through life seeing the curiosities in this world. In 2011, I was on a quest: Project365 (p365). I took a picture everyday. That may be the first and last time I complete a New Year Resolution! Now, I'm trying to find quirky, kitschy joy. Beware: There are a lot of pics of my pup. Realistically, this blog should be called Luke's Photo Booth! All in all, it is a story of a well-loved life.

Team Jacob! (p365; 9.18.11)
I should be ashamed to admit it, but I have read the Twilight books. And, seen the movies. And, talked to Margaret about seeing the next movie when it opens. The books are so poorly written (e.g., my fav lines: "Her traitor tears. They betrayed her." Um, what else would they do? or Union Lake instead of Lake Union...what editor lets that slip?). Anyhow, the movies are better than the books (Bella comes across as less whiney/wimpy). But, I should still be embarassed. Last night (late! on a school night!) Sara and I went to see Crazy, Stupid Love (two thumbs up). There was a line in that movie where the divorcing-wife laments that she went to see the Twilight movies out of loneliness. Funny, since the theatre has already been hawking the next installment:
