I'm a human ecologist filled with random facts! On most days, I'm just a crazy dog lady who wanders through life seeing the curiosities in this world. In 2011, I was on a quest: Project365 (p365). I took a picture everyday. That may be the first and last time I complete a New Year Resolution! Now, I'm trying to find quirky, kitschy joy. Beware: There are a lot of pics of my pup. Realistically, this blog should be called Luke's Photo Booth! All in all, it is a story of a well-loved life.

Becka (p365; 7.26.11)

I was so fortunate to get to see my lovely and amazing friend, Becka, and her daughter, Ellie, this morning...at IKEA. Why Ikea? For fun, that's why. And, cheap coffee! And, a new kitchen rug! For those of you who don't know Becka, it is a million little things that make her wonderful. Mainly, she is caring embodied. When Becks lived in Seattle, we had both fun and serious times--drinking Mexican Hot Chocolate (MHC) at El Diablo, watching Amazing Race, crying over split MHC (ok, and sometimes boys)... Becka moved to Idaho, but we connect most days playing Scrabble (kudos to her on pulling off a last-play win in a game where we both scored over 400!). I'm blessed to know Becka and her daughter:
