Kathy and I got away for a girls' night on the Oregon Coast (plus Luke, an honorary girl). It was pretty dreary when we arrived, but we were still able to enjoy the beach.
We had dinner at a little pub with a patio. Others were not brave enough to sit outside, but we were!
Yup, Kathy and I have matching bags. |
It finally cleared up enough to take a long walk on the beach. Luke was convinced that Kathy was hiding a large tennis ball in her belly. How do you explain pregnancy to a dog?
Kathy taught us Cribbage. Luke studies best with his eyes closed.
The next morning, we went to breakfast at Wanda's cafe. It is full of mid-century kitsch, including this telefishon (an aquarium in an old tv set).
Enjoying our last moments on the beach!
